Ninja Pants is a weblog devoted to covering news and reviews of Asian American/Pacific Islander (API for short) music and musicians. We aim to draw attention to the growing API music scene, whether they reside in the middle of Times Square or on the fringes of MySpace.

Thought you might be interested in this…a Chinese female drummer in an up-and-coming rock band…(they were just featured in SPIN magazine last week and got a great review).

This girl is a one-woman stereotype DEBUNKER. Her name is Pauline Mu and she was also a star athlete at Yale…Ivy league volleyball player of the year, varsity golf, softball and crew.
Screw Gwen Stefani and her little Harajuku girls…how ’bout an Asian-American women rockin out on the drums!!
